Established in 1875, the Bangor Art Society is a visionary group of artists from across the region that network and create monthly. Following in the footsteps of their founders Jeremiah Pearson and Anne Hardy, the Art Society hosts guest artists and speakers, curates projects and provides visual art exhibitions, sales & shows year-round. It’s largest event is the annual Open Juried Show every spring, awarding thousands of dollars in cash prizes to visual artists in various categories.
